Hirix Graduates from Hassan VC and Secures $60,000 to Scale AI Verifier
We are proud to announce that Hirix has officially graduated from the Hassan VC accelerator programme — and with it, secured a $60,000 grant to scale our AI Verifier.
Hassan VC backs high-conviction technology startups solving real structural problems. For Hirix, that problem is the broken verification layer in hiring: slow, expensive, inconsistent background checks that block companies from moving fast on great talent.
What the grant funds
The $60,000 is earmarked entirely for scaling our AI Verifier — the engine behind agent Iris. Specifically:
- Data infrastructure — expanding our verification data sources across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines
- Model accuracy — improving Iris's cross-referencing models for employment history, education, and professional licence verification
- Enterprise integrations — building direct integrations with HRMS platforms so verification results flow automatically into client systems
- Compliance framework — deepening PDPA and regional data protection compliance for enterprise and regulated-industry clients
What Hassan VC gave us beyond capital
The programme connected us with a network of enterprise operators, investors, and regulators who helped us pressure-test our go-to-market approach. The structured feedback on our verification product — from compliance officers, HR leaders, and CFOs — directly shaped the Iris roadmap.
Graduating from Hassan VC validates that AI-driven verification isn't a feature. It's a category — and Hirix is building the infrastructure for it in Southeast Asia.
What's next
With this grant, we're targeting 10× the current volume of verification reports processed per month by Q4 2026. We're also opening a limited early access programme for enterprise clients who want to run Iris at scale ahead of our full public launch.
