Senior Software Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You'll lead technical implementations across Service Studio and Integration Studio, architect solutions using industry patterns, and drive integration with third-party systems. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior developers while solving complex production challenges in a collaborative, remote environment.

What you'll do

• Write and review clean, maintainable code adhering to SOLID principles; conduct code reviews to maintain engineering standards
• Optimize relational database schemas and queries in SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, documenting solutions and implementing preventative measures
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
• Mentor junior developers on OutSystems best practices, architecture patterns, and code quality standards

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications on the Full Stack
• Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL) with demonstrated ability to write optimized queries
• Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services for system integration
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting production issues in complex technical environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical solutions to stakeholder
