Remote work gave us back the commute and took away the walk-over: the two-minute question at someone's desk that settles what a 30-minute meeting never does. Today we are relaunching Virtual Hirix to bring it back, as a 3D office your team actually walks around, with AI agents at their own desks taking the office ops off your plate.
It is team chat, a virtual office, AI agents and public events, all at one address: virtual.hirix.ai. Chat is free for good. The office and every agent are free for 21 days, and you don't need a card to start.
Walk over. Don't schedule.
Every remote team knows the routine. You have a quick question, so you check a calendar, find a slot, send an invite and wait until Thursday. In Virtual Hirix you just walk over.
Everyone has an avatar and a desk in a shared 3D office. Walk your avatar up to a teammate and a video call opens at conversation distance. Walk away and it closes. There's no link, no invite and no "are you free?" message first. Share your screen, sort it out, and head back to your desk.
1-1 calls in the office are peer-to-peer and never recorded, so a hallway conversation stays a hallway conversation. When a conversation needs more room, take the call full screen: whoever is presenting fills the stage, everyone else sits in a strip beneath it, and you can shrink back to the office without dropping the call.
Your newest teammates are AI agents
This is the part we are most excited about. In Virtual Hirix you hire AI agents the same way you add a teammate. Each one gets a desk in the office, a DM thread and exactly one job. You can see them in the office as they work, drafting a reply or waiting with something for you, right alongside everyone else.
They also know where the line is. An agent asks before it sends an email or changes a deal. It does the legwork, and you make the call.
Four agents are ready to hire today:
- CRM Agent. Keeps your contacts and deal pipeline, finds new leads, and sends you a morning briefing and a daily follow-up on every deal. Its emails go out only when you press Send.
- Meeting Agent. Books the meeting, takes the notes and hands off the follow-ups.
- Product Agent. Your product manager: it runs the stand-ups, keeps the board, knows who is building what and flags work that has gone idle.
- QA Agent. Reviews pull requests and runs tests on the feature before it ships.
Agents that hand work to each other
Agents don't work in silos. When the Meeting Agent finishes the notes from your roadmap review, it passes the action items to the Product Agent, which puts them on the board with an owner and a due date. You approve every hand-off, so nothing lands on the board you didn't agree to.
Team chat, free for good
Underneath the office is a complete team chat: spaces, DMs and threads for unlimited members, with no time limit and no price. If chat is all you need today, that's fine. Add the office and the agents when you are ready.
Events with a stage and a seat map, not a video grid
Sometimes you need to talk to people outside the company: a public roadmap session, a launch, a community Q&A. Virtual Hirix gives you a stage for it. Speakers hold the stage, attendees take numbered seats, and a raised hand gets you invited up. Events seat up to 50 people, and full means full.
Every event gets a public page anyone can open from a single link, and attendees don't need an account to look around. Your event page is public. Your workspace stays private.
Private by architecture
A workspace never resolves for someone who isn't a member, not even its name. Membership is checked against your company email domain and an admin approves every join. An event guest sees that event and nothing else, and a guest link into the office expires on its timer. Chat inside a call is cleared when the call ends.
What it costs
Chat is free. Everything else is free for 21 days with unlimited seats and no card. After that you pay in US dollars, billed monthly, for only what you keep.
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Team chat | Free, always | Unlimited members; spaces, DMs and threads; public and company-only events up to 50 seats; integrations |
| Virtual Office | US$6 a month per workspace | Includes the owner's admin seat. Then US$3 per admin, US$2 per staff member and US$1 a month for guest access |
| CRM Agent | US$10.90 a month | 300 contact searches a month |
| Meeting Agent | US$5.90 a month | 20 notetaker hours a month |
| Product Agent | US$8.90 a month | Stand-ups, the board and idle alerts |
| QA Agent | US$12.90 a month | 150 pull request reviews and 60 test runs a month |
After the trial, only the people who use the office need a seat, and the agents work with or without the office. If you pay for a chat tool, a video tool and a webinar tool today, this is one product instead of three subscriptions.
We run Hirix on it
Virtual Hirix isn't a concept demo. The team that builds it runs our own company on it every day: we walk over instead of booking calls, our agents brief us in the morning, and our roadmap sessions happen on its stage.
There's more on the way. Next is a company network with shared spaces, DMs and co-hosted events with partner companies, which is now in development. We are also building more agents, including a Developer Agent that picks up cards from your board and a Marketing Agent that drafts campaigns for your approval.
Bring your team. A private workspace takes about two minutes to set up at virtual.hirix.ai, and everything is free for 21 days. Want the bigger picture first? See how Virtual Hirix fits into the Hirix platform.
Frequently asked questions
What is Virtual Hirix?
Virtual Hirix is a workspace that combines team chat, a 3D virtual office your team walks around, AI agents that run the office ops, and public events. It is available at virtual.hirix.ai.
How do calls work in the 3D office?
Walk your avatar over to a teammate and a video call opens at conversation distance. Walk away and it closes. 1-1 calls in the office are peer-to-peer and never recorded.
What can the AI agents do?
Each agent has a desk in the office, a DM thread and one job. The CRM Agent manages contacts, deals and follow-ups, the Meeting Agent books meetings and takes notes, the Product Agent runs stand-ups and the board, and the QA Agent reviews pull requests and runs tests. Agents ask before they send an email or change a deal.
How much does Virtual Hirix cost?
Team chat is free. The Virtual Office is US$6 a month per workspace including the owner's admin seat, then US$3 per admin and US$2 per staff seat. AI agents are monthly add-ons from US$5.90 to US$12.90 each.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The office and every agent are free for 21 days with unlimited seats, and no card is needed to start. Chat stays free after the trial.
Who can see my workspace?
Only verified members. A workspace never resolves for a non-member, membership is checked against your company email domain, and an admin approves every join.
Do event attendees need an account?
No. Every event has a public page anyone can open from one link, and attendees do not need an account to look around. Events seat up to 50 people.
